In part one of this tutorial, I’ll show you how to crochet the teddy bear square, how to make the snout and embroider the little nose and eyes. You will make 13 of the teddy bear squares for your blanket. To make your crochet squares you will be working in the round. You can start your work by either: 1. Making a magic circle or 2. Chain 4, then slip stitch to the first chain to form a circle. IMPORTANT: If you choose method 1, make sure that you securely weave in the yarn tail to ensure that the middle of your square does not unravel. To join my squares, I used the flat slip stitch seam.
